Small bore tubing and
casing conditioner

The Downhole Hippo® is a downhole tool to scrape and condition small bore casing and tubing. The Downhole Hippo® can equally be used for jointed pipe or through tubing applications. The tool acts as a scraper to condition the casing or tubing by removing downhole debris such as mud cake, rust and general debris.

The Downhole Hippo® additionally acts as a centraliser – composite blades maintain the planned stand-off yet are flexible enough to pass through minimal downhole restrictions.
The tool is normally placed in the BHA above a mill and a motor or a jetting assembly.
